Howdy. At work again. Here are some cool links/stories for today:
- The Voyager 1 spacecraft has reached the edge of the solar system. That’s really great news, and hopefully marks the beginning of an increased yearning for more knowledge of our universe. Talk about longevity, this spacecraft is 26 years-old and still going strong. Click here.
- More BitTorrent sites have shut down because of their association with the piracted copy of Star Wars: Episode III – The Revenge Of The Sith that hit the Net a few days after its premiere. My question is: why does Star Wars get more attention than the hundreds of other movies that are on these BitTorrent sites? Click here.
- In other BitTorrent news, the creator has created a BitTorrent search engine. Finally. Although I’m counting the hours until it is shut down as well. Click here.
There’s more, but I don’t think I have the time to finish blogging until my shift ends at 5.00PM. Maybe I’ll pick this back up when I get home, and after I finish the two reviews that I promised myself that I would finish tonight. It looks like The Figurine and Blue Merle to write about tonight. I’ve noticed that the quality of my reviews have gone down considerably since I’ve imposed deadlines on myself. I shouldn’t request so much material in such a quick timeframe. Oh well. After I finish the seven that I have left, I’ll request three more, and that’s the only things that I have thought about doing other than the articles I planned to do weeks ago.
In other good news, I found out that my French presentation in front of my class isn’t a presentation, but an oral test to my teacher and another person. I’m just glad I don’t have to embarrass myself in front of LK. Although I must say that I had to let her go. I’m never going to talk to her, despite what Xochi tells me.
