Driving Ethics

Coming back home from a lunch of sushi delight, Rlyconfused confused drove and we observed what should have been an easy and right decision. Coming across a two lane road turned into one because of heavy pedestrian traffic (farmer’s market), an elderly couple had started to walk in the crosswalk. The car in the opposite lane had already stopped for the couple who was first crossing on our side. The car ahead of us, instead of stopping, sped up to cause the elderly woman to scurry backwards. Rlyconfused stops and the couple crosses.

The car ahead of us — to karma’s effect — is stopped by a red light. I look over to find that the car is being driven by an Asian punk. What an asshole.

In case you didn’t notice, no Middletown, CA party. Next Sunday.

Currently listening to: Bobby Darin – “Beyond The Sea”
