I’ve decided to build a new computer. I was thinking about shelling out $3000 for a Mac Pro, but I figured that would be silly. It looks amazing. It’s super fast, but I think I’m really more in love with OS X than the Mac hardware. The hardware, to me, isn’t really anything special, except for the MacBook Pro keyboard. That’s heaven.
I’m going to build a new PC with the intent on hacking OS X onto it. I figure trying this now while my 4 1/2 year-old PowerBook is still alive would quicken things up. I just ordered my case. All will be well.
Also got my 2G iPod shuffle and my Grado SR-60 headphones last week. Gadgets galore pour moi.

Funny news article. Kidnapper in Kansas botches the crime and ends up shooting himself.
The man had just stuck the gun back into his waistband when it fired, shooting him in the left testicle. He cringed, causing the gun to fire again and strike him in the left calf.
