I try not to get caught up in all of these analytics stuff with regard to web stats and such. A lot of the time, that kind of talk is just gratification for how much traffic some sites get. For a smaller site like D&L, though it is interesting to see and track growth.
Here are a couple of screenshots of D&L’s most recent traffic patterns.

Please remember that March is not yet over. I have no clue as to the reasoning behind that big December 2007 dip.
Stereogum unveiled their new redesign last week to coincide with SXSW. It looks good. I like how they retained much of the old look, especially the color scheme.
They switched some of the sidebar things since the last time I took the screenshot.
Music festivals are great and I’m glad San Francisco is getting another one. The west coast is a good place for indie music and the new Outside Lands Music And Arts Festival invades Golden Gate Park from August 22-24 later this year.
Radiohead, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and Jack Johnson headline the three-day festival, which is shorter than both the earlier Noise Pop Festival and the recently concluded South By Southwest Festival. I plan to go, but it kind of sounds like a mini hippie-fest.
