“Southwest Airlines passengers got a scare landing in Phoenix Monday when smoke filled the cabin after a wheel blew out. It was a lesson in safety precautions. One woman nearly suffocated because she didn’t have the $20 for the oxygen mask.” — Argus Hamilton on Southwest Airlines and the recent increasing airline fees
Although I certainly understand your comment and the underlying frustration with growing airline fees, I’m just curious why you chose Southwest as your example. Why would you choose as your example to make your case one of the only airlines that is *not* assessing these new fees on travelers?
I dunno, you’re gonna have to ask Argus that question… Southwest is definitely better than the Big 3 carriers I assure you…
