Fresno Bee

In the July 21, 2008 edition of the Fresno Bee, there is an example of the media bias for Senator Barack Obama and against Senator John McCain in the 2008 U.S. presidential race.

On the front page, Obama gets roughly 5.125 inches of text-only space, which balloons to almost seven inches if you include the picture (2.25 sq. in.). McCain has 4.25 inches of text-only space, and has his picture (with Sen. Ted Kennedy) relegated to page A9. Granted his space on A9 is slightly bigger, the fact that Obama gets his face on the front cover rather than McCain is a little more than a coincidence if you ask me.

By the way, the woman picture in “The Beehive” section below the news articles is kinda cute.
