ESPN.com Finally Gets Redesigned

ESPN was released from beta, and has finally gotten a much needed redesign.

The new website looks more contemporary without going Web 2.0-like. It looks cleaner, but still as cluttered as before. I can’t think of a way for it not to be cluttered so the cleanliness helps a lot.

The banner ads look weird since they appear to be from the same company and of the same ad.

It’s curious how video has been dropped from the homepage.

The sports pages are now more consistent with the homepage. Below is the MLB page.

It seems to jump from either loading faster or slower than I remember. All in all, I like it.
