I still don’t quite know who Madison is. I received an unsolicited email that Madison was offering a free MP3 download for a Doctor Rosen Rosen Remix of her “Lights Low” track on her website. The email did its job, as I did click the link and download the track. It’s not bad. Go download it.
Madison is an intriguing figure. Her past includes publishing academic papers in neuroscience and medical journals. Now she engages in crafting surprisingly pleasant and catchy pop tunes while living it up in Miami.
Madison is releasing the EP The Noise Some People Make on January 11, 2011. It’s the first of a four-part pop and art project. Officially, Madison is pursuing “postmodern pop pastiche with street-smart style,” or in other words “high fashion for lowbrows.” I don’t know what that means, but it’ll be interesting to find out with the next few EPs. Lady Gaga, she is not; more like Annie.
