Spring-Summer Gripe

For the first time in a long time it has been sunny and nice on consecutive days. With not a cloud in the sky and 70-80 degree temperatures, spring can officially be welcomed into Davis, CA. But with such nice weather, you’d think the consequences would be tons of sunburns caused by too much skin exposure. Not possible. Why? Because of girls that cover themselves when it’s extremely sunny and it’s around 70-80 degrees. I surprisingly saw many girls today sporting long jeans and hooded sweatshirts. How is that possible? One More Day Of Vacation

I came back to Davis today after a much deserved weeklong vacation. Although having surgery took some out of my relaxation plans, I still got lots of rest. My surgery — a gum graft — went well. To my surprise I wasn’t in that much pain. The dentist today took off the bandage and I finally got a look at it. My gums look better, but I wish he could have done more to cover the exposed enamel.
